A Repeater station, also known as a Talk Through Base is a piece of equipment which allows you to extend the range of your radio system.

 

Repeaters require installing with mains power and an aerial which allows it to boost the strength of the signal.

 

​Licencing

Repeater installs always require an Ofcom licence - If you already have an ofcom licence, we can program radios to your existing frequencies, or if not, we can obtain a licence for you and manage it for renewals.  More information on Ofcom licensing can be found here

Analogue vs Digital

The Motorola SLR1000 can be programmed in analogue or digital depending on the two way radio system you are using.

Installation and Comission

Our network of approved installers can install your repeater and aerial for an additional cost.  All our installers are professional and come with years of experience in the field.  All hold a quarry passport and an MP Connect Card.
