MARKET RESEARCHER/ANALYST

North West - 6 months fixed term contract with potential for extending

In Touch Ltd is a small successful innovative company based in Morecambe, which has built its 26 year reputation on quality, innovative and robust radio and software solutions for the Highways Maintenance and Quarrying industries.

 In Touch Ltd is a well-established organisation which has to date operated in tightly defined market segments.  Technological advancements in mobile computing have led to the company developing a Products Innovations Department which develops new products. The company has a requirement for market analysis to identify new product opportunities and also, for its existing product portfolio, new market sectors.

Phase 1

In Touch Ltd aim to identify unique segments in the market so that they can tailor product features, services, distribution, pricing, and marketing communication messages specifically to each segment.


Phase 2

Following on from the market analysis, the company/researcher will develop a marketing strategy for each market segment. This work will describe how the proposed marketing strategy can increase the effectiveness of a company's marketing and communication efforts.

The researcher needs to have a proven track record and the resources to provide quantitative and qualitative research. This role will suit someone who has a solid grounding in quantitative research and has experience in writing questionnaires, checking data, analysis and drafting reports and presentations. The researcher must be able to work to strict deadlines, and maintain excellent communication channels with In Touch Ltd.

IT TRAINER

As an IT Trainer for In Touch you will be required to train the end users at customers’ locations to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the system. You will also be required to ensure a smooth implementation of our systems which would include inputting of customers data and software testing.  A good understanding of system processes would be beneficial in order to help the customer implement the system into their business.

 
This role would suit someone who is able to communicate at all levels and be tactful when dealing with the end users.  A presentable, self motivated, flexible individual who is able to learn fast and work well using their own initiative is sought.  A full clean driving licence would be required as this role would entail visiting customer sites to provide Implementation support as well as training.  This role involves an element of driving, site visits and overnight stays.

 
Although this role involves out of office work, there would also be a requirement to spend time in our offices in Morecambe to test the systems and provide feedback to the developers of the implementation of the system.

·         Proven track record of delivering effective IT Training

·         Ability to adapt teaching and learning techniques in order to support varying degrees of users.
