Works orders: rapid information transfer

Works orders are entered into the main office system via customer applications or manually, with their status visible to both the supervisor and clients.

Orders, with location map, diagrams, traffic management and other documents are then dispatched to workers via 3G in real time. Workers receive orders on their own mobile devices – and using a simple-to-operate system requiring minimum training, they fill in job report forms covering information such as start time, completion time and materials used.

This information is sent back to head office, automatically updating the system – then notifying customers and office staff of work progress. After being checked, the information updates existing central systems.
