Lone Worker

Lone Worker

If you have employees on site who sometimes work alone then you have a duty of care to ensure that their safety is a priority.  In Touch has launched a new system which provides a valuable aid to health & safety.

How the system works…

The lone worker carries a handheld two way radio which every 20 minutes or so, emits a continuous tone.  If the worker is fit and well he or she simply presses a button to cancel out the signal.

However, if the worker cannot respond due to accident or sickness then the radio will send a pre-recorded message to up to four pre-programmed numbers to notify that the lone worker alarm has been triggered.

The system isn’t designed to give an absolute emergency response, however it does substantially reduce the health & safety risks associated with lone working.
